Description of Custom Aspen Beams
A decorative faux wood beam can be the obvious choice to anchor the design elements of a room and add warmth and laid-back charm. With their raised grain effect, they bear an amazing likeness to real wood, but because they’re composed of polyurethane, the beams are extremely lightweight and install-friendly. And they boast a greater resistance to pests and other damage, whether indoors or out, as well as being much more cost-efficient compared to the real thing.
As if all those advantages weren’t enough, the beams come pre-made at lengths of 192” (16’) and 240” (20’). You can, of course, easily cut them to any desired length using standard woodworking tools. Note: The Aspen beams may have screws embedded below the surface. We recommend using a hand saw (not power tools) when cutting these beams. You may find these screws with a stud finder.
