Description of Custom Hand Hewn Beams
Our custom hand hewn faux wood beam is the fast, perfect solution for creating a rustic, cozy atmosphere in your living room, den, master bedroom or anywhere you can appreciate the old-world charm of hand hewn wood.
And the faux wood beam is even better than real wood. Made of tough, lightweight polyurethane, it’s cost-efficient and much more resistant to wear and tear than actual wood. Compared to wood, it’s also much lighter and can be installed in a snap without hiring a work crew.
The beams come in lengths of 192” (16’) and 240” (20’), but can be easily custom-cut to any desired length with standard woodworking tools.
Note: The Hand hewn beams may have screws embedded below the surface. We recommend using a hand saw (not power tools) when cutting these beams. You may find these screws with a stud finder.
