Our customers say... "We liked these so much in our ski house in Lake Tahoe that we ordered more! Now, the downstairs area of our house is homier, cozier, and definitely more beautiful. These look great."
Resawn wood gets its beauty from subtle detail that is pleasing to the eye and adds a relaxed touch. The shallow, sweeping lines of the wood grain draws your attention across the beam without needing to be deep, weathering or jarring in appearance. The most noticeable detail of these fake ceiling beams is the slightly rough look to the grain pattern which in real wood is caused by the cutting technique.
Our fake ceiling beams lend a realistic touch to your designs while offering a light weight and durability that can’t be matched by wood. Made from high-density polyurethane, our beams will readily withstand the weather, won’t chip, crack or wrap like real wood and are impervious to pests. Once you have these resawn wood beams on your ceiling or home’s façade, they’ll stay looking practically like new for years to come.
The beauty of the beam lies in the fact that we use a real wood beam to create a mold that will perfectly mimic the nuances of wood. We then have every beam created from these master molds to ensure that our fake ceiling beams are practically indistinguishable from real wood. Your friends, family and neighbors won’t be able to tell the difference.
The virtually maintenance free design and material will mean that there is no costly upkeep and no fear of regular replacement or repairs. Just pop these up on your ceiling and reap the benefits of their beauty.
Note: The Resawn foam wood beams may have screws embedded below the surface. We recommend using a hand saw (not power tools) when cutting these beams. You may find these screws with a stud finder. Barron Designs is not responsible for any bodily harm or damage to your equipment. Click Here to view instruction on finding screws in beams.

My kitchen with resawn beams :-)(Mar 19, 2015)
I had used this product before in a previous home and loved it. Nobody believed they weren't real wood until I showed them a scrap piece. This time I added a larger beam lengthwise and smaller beams extending out from there. I LOVE IT, and so does everyone else. Our customer service rep in our development said he was going to send people to our house instead of the model!

resawn beams(Aug 2, 2014)
product is high quality. A few pieces were damaged in shipment but were able to deal with the dings with a little stain and placement of the imperfections. The beams fooled everyone! Great addition to our kitchen, family and bedroom.
