Your Beams are so cool. (Jun 23, 2011)
We came up with a method to paint the beams to make them look weathered. We had an artist / Contractor build a blend of stains, sand, glue and grout in a two step process to really make your beams look weathered. Your Beams are so cool. If you are ever in so. Cal I would love to show you.

Great looking product (Jun 7, 2011)
The beams look outstanding, installation was average difficulty. The only drawback was the rubber strapping material used to cover splices in the beam - I would suggest using the custom formed splices instead.

Installed in one day (Mar 14, 2009)
Very impressed with the lightweight quick and easy installation done in one day. Very easy to form the product with a knife, sander, or grinder. Decrative straps also add to the look and were also easy to install. I will never use solid real wood beams again for interior ceilings or trusses.

Everyone looks at the beams in amazement of their beauty (Feb 12, 2009)
The beams were great to work with. This being the first time we used them we didn't know what to expect. To our amazement they were easy to handle and went up quickly. Everyone looks at them first when walking in the room and ignore the corner fireplace with stone facade. Many of our vendors and trade partners have commented on how real they are.

Fools over 2000 people per day....... (Jan 21, 2009)
This train station was rehabilitated after a fire set by vagrants gutted the entire building. We used the faux wood beam in the raised grain as a replication of existing hand cut beams from the early 1910's. Over 2000 patrons visit this station every day and I have personally witnessed comments of awe wondering how the contractor got the heavy wood beams up into place. Ha, little did they know a few 2"x6"s for the truss structure was all that was needed for the complete installation of the beams.

We installed faux beams in the great room of our Parade of Homes entry in York County, PA. We received SO many positive comments from folks on the tour! I am certain it was a huge factor in the sale of the home.

Fantastic Product (Dec 17, 2008)
Visitors can not believe the beams are not real. I have actually had to argue with some folks. We stained them with the same stain as the rest of our woodwork and they look absolutely real.

Truly a great product (Dec 16, 2008)
We just completed construction of our new gymnasium at our school. We wanted to give it a lodge look and was told about Faux Wood Beams. After researching other products we made the decision to go with Faux beams based on the look, the price and what appeared to be the ease of installation. We were not disappointed. As a matter of fact I am the CFO of the school and I was the one who installed the beams since it was not in our contractor's scope. I would recommend the product to anyone, commercial or residential that is looking for an authentic wood look without spending enormous sums of money. Best of all you can do it yourself. FAUX WOOD BEAMS ARE TRULY A GREAT PRODUCT

Easy to handle looks like the real thing. (Dec 14, 2008)
We needed no extra structure or supports and the beams look great! We have installed beams in three homes in the past year and they're always a big hit with our customers.

Exceed your expectations for ease of installation and look of real wood (Dec 2, 2008)
I first used this product in our office building and then decided to install the beams in our get-a-way home in the mountains. The beams absolutely changed the look and feel of every room they were installed. I first installed them in the kitchen and family room and have now finished the Master Suite and game room. Our friends and family have now added them to their home with outstanding results. It does not get any better than this. I am a builder and have attended the National show each year and this product is by far the best of the best. They will exceed your expectations.

you will not be disappointed (Nov 13, 2008)
Included in this testimonial are some pictures of the faux beams my wife and I are extremely happy with. After considerable phone advice from the helpful and patient staff at Fauxwoodbeams.com we ordered the Raised Grain 10
