Viga tails are a key element in Southwestern architecture. Traditionally used in what is often referred to as Santa Fe style, viga tails historically were the bit of wooden log that stuck out from an adobe home. Often the vigas were stripped of their bark and washed and served to support the ceiling. Bring interest and flare to exteriors of homes and buildings by adding a charming row of vigas.

Unlike real wood, faux viga tails won’t crack, split or rot. They are virtually maintenance-free, insect-proof, great-looking and easy to install.
