Description of Custom Beachwood Beams
The Beachwood imitation wood beams provide charm and appeal to any interior. The highly realistic texture and color of real wood allow for an easy way to accentuate your home’s décor beautifully.
Constructed out of robust polyurethane, these beams will never crack, rot, fade or split. The polyurethane also makes them extremely lightweight. Almost anyone can install them in a matter of hours, and with minimal stress or expense.
Available in four elegant colors or Unfinished, and with a choice of a 3 or 4-sided beam, these beams can be custom-cut to the height and length you desire. Thanks to this, you get a lot of flexibility for your project.
Note: The Beachwood beams may have screws embedded below the surface. We recommend using a hand saw (not power tools) when cutting these beams. You may find these screws with a stud finder. Important! Any Woodland, Tuscany, Rough Hewn, Beachwood, Custom Rough Sawn Beams, Planks and/or Corbels intended to be used in an exterior application needs to be top coated with a high quality clear coat exterior polyurethane with a UV inhibitor to protect the stain from fading.

The faux beam looks real! It adds to our house character and beauty. We are very glad we bought it. It was delivered straight to our home in great packaging. We recommend people buy one.

The beams were even better looking than we expected. The light weight and durability made the installation a snap.
We are delighted with the results of putting the beam in our vaulted ceiling. What a difference it has made to the character of the room. We wish we would have done the job years sooner. We had an issue with screws coming out of the ceiling and were not able to resolve the situation through the contractor. Putting the beam up was the perfect solution to the problem. We purchased a pre-stained beam; and, after looking the beam over, we chose to stain the knots darker. As you can see, they turned out perfect. In order to make the beam appear as if it was coming through the rocks, we made a template and easily shaped the end of the beam along the rocks to give that appearance. It was a perfect fit. Those that have seen this beam in our home are amazed how real it looks and have said what a great improvement it made.
