Description of Custom Axed Mantels
Use these Axed faux wood mantels to create the look of a custom fireplace and instantly add rural appeal to your home. We use molds taken of a real axe-hewn log to make these pieces, thus allowing the genuine chop marks show through.
Available in two mantel designs of Unfinished or Walnut, you may choose to order the mantels with an unfinished surface to add a raw lightness to your room. Or, perhaps the coziness evoked by the deep walnut style is more your aesthetic. Both have the rustic, just-chopped-it-yourself feel that makes your home unique and personal.
Made of polyurethane, these faux wood mantels are more durable than real wood— they stand up against daily wear and tear and are not susceptible to cracks or splintering. Custom axed mantels can also be custom-cut to your desired size so that they arrive at your home in the perfect dimensions, saving you time and frustration.
Our faux mantels are durable, but are for decorative use only. The mantels are not meant to support heavy weight.
