Our custom Woodland mantels are a sure-fire way to add a casual grace and pull together the look of your living room, dining room or wherever you choose to use them as a design accent. They can be custom-cut and delivered to you at your specified height or length for the greatest ease and flexibility.
Perfectly simulating the texture, pattern and grain of real wood, these artificial wood mantels possess a polyurethane makeup that is hardier and more durable than the real thing – ready to resist cracking, splitting, rot and many other types of wear and tear. Their composition also makes them extremely lightweight, allowing most homeowners to have them installed quickly and easily, without the added expense of hiring a professional.
Get accustomed to the beauty and ease of our custom mantels. Once they’re up, you’ll be enjoying them for years to come.
Our faux mantels are durable, but are for decorative use only. The mantels are not meant to support heavy weight. They can be made with a Class A Fire Rated foam as well.
Due to our fireplace mantels being handmade, measurements may vary slightly.
Love this product... Easy to install with basic skills and tools. With the addition of pine side rails and decorative corbels, the surround offered balance to the appearance of the heavy wood beam and the ledger stone. This product will stain nicely and simple dark enhancements to the grain really brings out the natural looking beauty of the faux wood beam. DIY women give it a try... you will love it too.

Looks great(Jan 18, 2010)
I'm really pleased with my beam! It was a little lighter than I wanted, but I just painted it darker and it's been perfect! It was a little difficult screwing the top of the mantle into the 2x4, but other than that, easy install!

Great quality, easy install(Dec 21, 2009)
We remodeled our family lake condo and were looking for the perfect mantle to blend a modern yet casual feel to our new design. After much research, we decided on fauxwoodbeams.com because of the wide range of options and affordability. The Mojave/Woodland faux mantle added just the special touch we had in mind. It gives the feel of a weathered piece of driftwood so it fits nicely with the lake décor. We were so impressed by the ease of installation and product quality. We’ve had so many compliments and everyone thinks it’s real wood. You can’t go wrong with this product.

After searching for old barn beams for a mantle to go along with our rustic taste, I was getting very discouraged...until I came across your site. I ordered a mantle immediately and was completely surprised! We just finished and I think it looks amazing. No one knows it's not the real thing. Thank you so much!

great product(Apr 2, 2009)
My boyfriend and I installed a faux wood mantel and corbels over my fireplace. Fast shipment with the mantel well protected. Very easy installation and it looks unbelievably real. I highly recommend.
We initially were going to have our mantel professionally installed, but when it came in so early, we wanted it up immediately! My husband had no trouble installing the mantel with a power drill and one, I repeat ONE trip to Loews for the 2X4 and screws!

Faux Mantels are More Versatile than Ordinary Mantels and easy to work with.(Dec 17, 2008)
I used an 8 ft. Mojave/Woodland Faux shelf to replace a 3/4 inch MDF board which had exposed white metal braces and Faux plants. This I had done to break up the monotony of a two story all white wall. Having lived in South America for a while, I wanted to recapture the look of the massive ceiling beams and window frames that gave those homes and buildings both character and the feeling of structural integrity. Since I had used Faux Beams in the ceiling, it occurred to me that I could do the same with a mantel serving as a shelf. The installation was simple. I bolted a horizontal 2X4 on the wall, ran short hanger blocks out every 24 inches and simply screwed the lightweight mantel to this base. Actually, prior to hanging the mantel, I inserted our doorbell and ran electrical wire down its length to be able to install an outlet on a difficult to reach wall, two down lights to illuminate artwork below and one central up light to highlight the arches, faux plants, arched windows and roof..
