Installing Mantel Shelves

This page will instruct you how to install our faux wood and real wood fireplace mantel shelves.

Faux Wood Mantels

1. Simply mount a 2 x 4 on your wall.		2. Slide our mantel over the 2 x 4.		3. Then put screws through the top of the mantel to anchor it into the 2 x 4. You could apply construction adhesive on the edges of the mantel for extra security.

Real Wood Mantels

The installation is easy.

1) Simply mount a 2 x 4 and on your wall.
2) Mantel will slide over the 2 x 4.
3) Then you should screw the mantel to the wall. We recommend using construction adhesive as well for extra security.
