About Rafter Tails

Decorative rafter tails are a great way to add a distinctive and striking touch to your home. From light enhancements to dramatically changing your building exterior's look, faux wood rafter tails are easily slipped over standard beams.

Rafter tails, also called truss tails, can fit nearly every budget and architectural style. Get double bullnose or crown rafter tails and paint them white to bring out the delicate lines of a Victorian. Add rough sawn cove or scroll faux wood rafter tails as the perfect touch to your Santa Fe dream house, bed & breakfast, farmhouse or town home.

Each rafter tail style fits over a standard 2x4 and several styles fit over 4" x 6" and 4" x 4". We offer various styles and sizes of rafter tails. You have the option to purchase them finished in a walnut color or pre-primed. For volume orders, we can custom make a particular rafter tail to your specifications.
