Artificial timber planks will add a bold and timeless touch of wood to the exterior or interior of a home. Using the same process as a beam, they are created from a high-quality mold of an actual wooden plank. This gives each plank the identical detail, warmth and visual appeal of actual wood without the downside of heavy weight or gradual deterioration. Artificial timber planks are available in Unfinished or Walnut stain and will match our Timber ceiling beams.
Important! Any Timber or Sandblasted Beams, Planks and/or Corbels intended to be used in an exterior application needs to be top coated with a high quality clear coat exterior polyurethane with a UV inhibitor to protect the stain from fading.

Used timber style TP-09 with cedar grapestakes to create Southwestern look .(Dec 17, 2008)
Material was highly realistic and easy to work . I used a combination of TP-09 , essentially a 2" x 4" rough plank look and cedar grapestakes on my patio ceiling . Looked great and added a very Southwestern flair to my patio area . FauxWoodBeam is a great company to order from. Customer service answered all my questions. The material shipped promptly and was securely packaged and arrived with no damage . For my next project I intend to use the Faux Panels .
