Standard Real Wood Rafter Tails have 7 " of solid wood at the profiled end.
 The length of the channel or route is equal to the overall length of the Real Wood Rafter Tail less the length of the solid end (7"). All Real Wood Rafter Tails have a slot/channel width of 1 5/8" by a depth of 3 3/4". The slot is designed to easily slide over a 2x4 truss tail. A 2x6 truss tail can be trimmed down to fit into the slot.
