Description of Real Wood Rafter Tails
Real wood rafter tails make a great addition to any home exterior design, adding the look of real rafter beams extending out from the roof and ending with a unique design. These architectural products are sure to add eye-catching quality and curb appeal to any home.
Made from high quality wood fiber, kiln-dried and pre-primed in white, our real wood rafter tails are ready to be painted or stain and installed. Unlike conventional rafter tails, ours are specially made to use 70% less wood making the considerably lighter and easier to install.
The kiln drying process of our architectural products seals the wood of the rafter tails to make them much more resistant to moisture, shrinkage and cracking when compared to conventional solid sawn designs. This means that they’ll last longer and stay looking great for years.
While they do make a perfect exterior roof design element, real wood rafter tails are also great when used indoors as wall accents or as finishing touches on trusses. Available in six great styles with 25 sizes to choose from and custom designs available as well. There is certain to be a rafter tail that will work with your home design.
