Made from high quality wood fiber, kiln-dried and pre-primed in white, our real wood rafter tails are ready to be painted or stain and installed. Unlike conventional rafter tails, ours are specially made to use 70% less wood making the considerably lighter and easier to install.
The kiln drying process of our architectural products seals the wood of the rafter tails to make them much more resistant to moisture, shrinkage and cracking when compared to conventional solid sawn designs. This means that they’ll last longer and stay looking great for years.
While they do make a perfect exterior roof design element, real wood rafter tails are also great when used indoors as wall accents or as finishing touches on trusses.
