Description of Quick Ship Rough Hewn Beams
The Quick Ship Rough Hewn beams have the pronounced textural depth of real hand cut wood, including all the ridges, lines and grooves. The result is a highly realistic look that adds a nice finishing touch to the décor of interiors and exteriors.
Available in five attractive colors, including Unfinished, it’s easy to find a style that will match your preferences and design requirements. These beams come in a convenient combination of 4 different lengths and 6 size combinations for Width and Height. Thanks to this, it’s that much easier for you to create the design you imagine.
Made of extremely durable polyurethane, these stylish beams won’t rot, chip, crack or fade like real wood does. They also resist moisture, severe weather conditions, and temperature extremes. Termites won’t damage them, either. Because the beams are so lightweight, anyone can easily install them in a matter of hours. Before you know it, you’ll have a spectacular new design!
Important! Any Woodland, Tuscany, Rough Hewn, Beachwood, Custom Rough Sawn Beams, Planks and/or Corbels intended to be used in an exterior application needs to be top coated with a high quality clear coat exterior polyurethane with a UV inhibitor to protect the stain from fading.
NOTE: If you are looking to cover and existing Beam or Column, you CANNOT use these Beams (or any of our monolithic/molded as one piece Beams). This can be accomplished by using either our Custom Beams, Quick Ship Timber Beams, or Real Wood Beams. You cannot use any beams other than the aforementioned Beams in this type of application. Due to the nature of our manufacturing process, Monolithic/Molded as one piece Beams can have considerable variations on the Inside dimensions and shape of the Beam (even from Beam to Beam on the same size OD Beams). Please see our FAQ regarding this for more detailed information on covering existing Beams: click here.

The product was exactly what we were looking for, was excellent quality and was easy to install.
Very real looking and relatively easy to install. My buddy and I installed 2 8' foot beams in 2 hours. It gave the wine cellar character.
They look so real! I love what they added to our room. The first delivery not due to the sender were damaged, and they replaced them at no cost. Very happy!
We purchased one beam to install in the highest pitch of our arched ceilings. We caped the ends with a rustic metal and screws. Looks great. Should of done it sooner.
Very happy with the result, looks like real wood and changed the look of the entire room
Ordered a 20' long by 22" high by 10 wide faux beam. Beam was delivered on time. Packaging was excellent. The beam fit perfectly and was very easy to install with help of my son.
It was so easy! My handy man and I did it together in one day. I am a woman that isn't terribly strong. The beams are super light weight. He made and installed the wooden anchors. The two of us then used two ladders and held the beams up and screwed them into the anchors. SO easy and they look amazing!!!
Light weight makes for easier installation than wood - easier to lift, easier to attach, easier to conform to ceiling, straighter than natural bends in wood, yet looks classic.
Sturdy product that really dresses up our main room for gathering. Filled in the tray ceiling perfectly. Looks awesome in Florida too.
The whole project was based around the beams. Without them it would not have been done. The idea came from our annual trip to Tuscany. I walked into a very old hotel and they had a beamed, wood ceiling. These were perfect, although it took me a little while to figure out how to finish them laytex paint and wax, versus the oil stain on the wood. Attached are a couple of bad pictures of before and after.
